Friday 7th May saw almost a hundred Walking Buses hurtling along the coast and heading towards Austinmer Public School.

Although reports in the media stated that traffic in the area was heavy, the Walking Buses did move huge numbers of students, parents and teachers very safely to their destination.

We would like to thank the lead bus drivers of Mrs Bell, Ms Hobbs, Mrs Reid and Mr Hogins for their safe driving in guiding their buses to school today.....however there were some reports of Mrs Bell going a little bit too fast at times....she was within the speed limits, but some of her passenger's legs found it hard to keep up.
