ANZAC DAY 2008

Austinmer Public School Commemorated Anzac Day on Friday, 11th April this year (as Anzac Day falls during our school holidays) We were honoured to have amongst our special guests a large number of veterans who attended our service. One of our parents played the Last Post and we learnt about Simpson and his Donkey from Lieutenant Colonel Robert Smith who spoke to our Assembly.

A group of our SRC students will be at the Austinmer Surf Life Saving club on the proper ANZAC Day dawn service on 25th April.
