School Uniforms
A uniform sub-committee was formed earlier this year initiated by parents at previous P&C meetings. The uniform will not be changing other than a few slight adjustments.
The main objective of the uniform committee was to find a way to make purchasing more convenient and cost effective. We have achieved this goal and have a uniform co-ordinator who will be taking orders and delivering to school. An order form and price list will be posted next week. Crystal Bears in Thirroul will be supplying the girls summer dress and winter tunic. Order forms will be avaialble shortly.
You will note that the colours have not changed, nor the basic concept of what the children wear. There has been a change to the girls' winter uniform in that they are now to wear White under the tunic (either a skivvy or peter pan collar shirt) as opposed to maroon. Other changes are that the short and long sleeve maroon polos will now have the logo on them, as will the jumpers and hats. You will also have the option of ordering socks, tights and even schoolbags with our logo on them
There is no need to rush out and buy a new uniform if your child is currently wearing the uniform correctly - refer to uniform list below.
Broad brimmed and bucket hats will be available at the start of next term and these will have the word AUSTI embroidered on them. Mr Petersen has noted in recent newsletters that he would like to see all students wearing these hats; this not only protects them from the sun but adheres to OH&S requirements.
