Uniforms
3.1 What is my child expected to wear to school each day?
The P & C Association and staff of Austinmer Public School support a school uniform for children attending this school .
It must be understood that this is a local decision which the staff of the school are able to encourage. In public schools it is not possible for the teaching staff to enforce the wearing of a school uniform. Therefore it is important that parents support the school and the wishes of the community by ensuring their children are appropriately dressed before leaving home each day.
2011/2012

Summer - Terms 1 & 4
Girls Summer:
Summer Dress; White Socks; Black Shoes or Black Joggers.
Boys Summer:
Grey Cargo Shorts;
Maroon short sleeved polo with white patterned collar and bands with logo
Grey socks and black shoes or black joggers.
Winter - Terms 2 & 3
Girls Winter:
Winter Tunic;
White skivvy or white long sleeve shirt with Peter Pan collar
Grey tights and black shoes or black joggers
Maroon Zip Front Tracksuit Jacket with logo.
Boys Winter:
Long grey cargo pants
Maroon long sleeve Polo Shirt with logo
Grey Socks; black shoes/joggers
Maroon Zip Front Jacket with logo.
Sports Uniform:
Boys & Girls: Maroon short sleeve polo with logo (as for boys summer)
Boys: Maroon shorts; grey socks, black joggers
Girls: Maroon shorts (culotte style) white socks; black joggers
In winter: Same polo top
Boys – maroon trackie pants
Girls – maroon dance pants
Maroon zip front jacket with logo.
