Welcome Back to 2010.

The 2010 school year is almost here and we can not wait to start. I trust that everyone has enjoyed the break and is as keen and eager as we are to begin the 2010 academic year.

 

This year we have three new faces on staff and I am delighted to welcome these teachers to our school. The enthusiasm that each of them brings to our school, along with their expereince and professionalism will certainly strengthen and meld well with the dedication and expertise our current teaching staff. We have;
  • Ms Jemima Burgess as our new Assistant Principal - she joins us after spending time in the Campbelltown Public School, along with,
  • Mrs Julie Reid - who comes from Wollongong Public School,
  • Ms Jane Bostock - who has been appointed as a new classroom teacher from John Warby Public School and 
  • Mrs Ruth Burns who come to us from the Sutherland region.
Our Hall is getting closer to completion - and we are getting a new classroom too (but it will take some time to put it in place.)
 
So although we are starting the year as we finished it, with lots of building noises - but by the end of Term 1, we should have new demountables in place and an exciting new venue with our Hall.
 
Thank you all for your patience during our restructure and we look forward to an exciting and vibrant year of learning.


MySchool website

The introduction of the MySchool website marks a turning point in Federal government education policy.

Before viewing the data presented on this site, I would encourage everyone to use the link below that will take you to a short video presentation from Michael Coutts-Trotter, the Director General of Education in NSW.

He provides an easy to follow explanation as to what you will find, and most importantly what you will not find on the MySchool website.
